We develop and produce content with people who love to create; our favorite thing is to work together to help execute a shared vision, and then get it front of the biggest audience possible. From a 10 second social media clip to a feature length project, we can make it happen. We have over 40 years of combined experience in live events, comedy, production, and post-production.
We started our company to work with, and give a platform to artists (especially in Chicago) who are destined to go on to bigger and better things. We aim to create vibrant, original work with talented people, with a focus on diversity both in cast and crew.
Like Cap Streeter building an empire on the ashes of the Great Chicago Fire, we took our past experience in entertainment and production then built Streeterville Productions on top of it. There are no rules, there are no boundaries, there are only possibilities.
Streeterville Productions was founded by Scott Goldstein and Dave Yakir, two brother-in-laws that enjoy working together, and work well with others. Our resumes? Sure.
Scott has been involved in the creation of over 40 original theatrical productions in Chicago, Los Angeles and Tokyo, is an alumnus director of the Second City National Touring Company, former artistic director of Flat Iron Comedy, alum of the Annoyance Theatre, iO Chicago, and guy you think you know from that thing you once saw. He does a lot of other stuff that isn't relevant here, but feel free to engage him in conversation sometime.
Dave is a production and post-production maven, a DP and editor who has worked with the likes of McLaren Racing, USGA, Salesforce, Cisco, and with other Fortune 500 companies, has traveled the world producing, directing, shooting and editing. He really enjoys creative problem solving and cleaning up his own mess; his kids' mess, not so much but they are adorable.
Lisa is originally from Gary, IN, and is a comedian, actor, and executive producer. She's worked with and has been featured on several national platforms and publications, and she's known in these Chicago streets as a performer and producer. She's looking forward to speaking her truth and telling stories in an innovative way.
Shane has a passion to champion films of all genres that dig deeper into human connection and offer a new perspective of our world. A Chicagoan by way of Iowa, he is excited to continue building the independent film community in his adopted home.
